Raphael Viana is a Brasilian novella star on Globo TV. Born in 1983 in the countryside of Rio de Janeiro, he made his television debut in 2007 acting on GNT’s Irene’s Dilemma and has since gone on to appear in Araguaia and Morde e Assopra. In his current role as Joshua in Amor, Eterno Amor (Love, Eternal Love) he plays a cowboy who becomes a successful model. Here, he shares what it’s like to be a very popular (and handsome!) TV star in Brasil for a day:

6:30AM RISE AND SHINE!
Today I have a very busy schedule ahead of me! But before it all starts, I grab a quick breakfast and hit the gym.

10:00AM JUST ANOTHER DAY AT THE OFFICE...

On location shooting two scenes for Amor, Eterno Amor, both outdoors, in a beautiful place called “The Sandbanks of Marambaia”.

1:30PM FUEL UP
Once we finish recording the exterior scenes, I run home to have lunch then enjoy a swim in the ocean.

3:00PM PRACTICE MAKES PERFECT!
In the afternoon, I rest up and rehearse my lines. In the evening, we’ll start recording again. (This is no 9-to-5 job!) Joshua, my character on Globo TV’s Love, Eternal Love plays the guitar, so I spend time practicing new music that I have to learn for the scene.

7:00PM BACK TO WORK...
We tape a few more scenes in the city at night... it’s truly beautiful.

11:30PM THAT'S A WRAP!
The end. It’s been a long day, but a very pleasant one.

Boa-Noite!
