Hold your horses! Race season has begun with the ultimate kick-off featuring big hats and bourbon – The Kentucky Derby! But don’t let a galloping good-time end at the beginning! Derby is only the first leg of the Triple Crown. So, throw a few get-togethers (and partake in a bit of gambling) with your friends for all three of the major race events (Preakness on May 18 and Belmont Stakes on June 9). And obviously, when it comes to the drinks, the stakes are high, so why not wow all your friends with fabulous game day cocktails. 

Most of my favorite ornaments are those that have been given to me, rather than those I purchase myself: I love to think of the backstory and the person I received it from as I deck out my tree each year!  So, as you make the holiday rounds this year, instead of bringing the host or hostess the obligatory bottle of wine, why not present them with a gorgeous keepsake they’ll cherish for years to come?
