When life gives you lemons… make a beautiful centerpiece! Gathered in a hammered metal bowl they’ll brighten up your space no matter what your color scheme may be.

Not only is emerald the Pantone color of the year, but green – all shades of it – is the hue for home decorating this Spring; the brights are mood-lifting and adventurous, while the deeper tones are brooding and mysterious (ideal for the boudoir, no?). And with St. Patrick’s Day just around the corner, we couldn’t think of a more perfect time to get in on the trend!

Most of my favorite ornaments are those that have been given to me, rather than those I purchase myself: I love to think of the backstory and the person I received it from as I deck out my tree each year!  So, as you make the holiday rounds this year, instead of bringing the host or hostess the obligatory bottle of wine, why not present them with a gorgeous keepsake they’ll cherish for years to come? Here, a few of my faves from Macy’s Holiday Lane
