Hey, dude! Just because you live alone, doesn’t mean it’s okay to eschew all forms of décor. Sure, the first Playboy pinup you ever... umm “liked” was cool to tape on your wall in college, but now that you’ve grown up and moved out on your own, it’s time to upgrade your pad to reflect your new refined taste (or at least fake it!). Here, 4 simple ways to up your style quotient and show off your decorating skills.

Impress the boys by turning your man cave into the perfect home movie theatre with a sweet projector. Get up close and personal with all your fave athletes or watch Die Hard (for the 1000th time) with this deluxe hi-tech toy.

2. Relax

There’s a reason Joey on Friends cherished (and named!) his leather recliner – it’s not your Dad’s barcalounger, it’s so much more than that. Comfy and effortlessly cool, a chic chair is a MUST for any gentleman’s quarters (I recommend getting two: You won’t want someone else hogging your spot).

3. Serve

Bring happy hour to you with a decadent, cherry wood home bar set. Then, shake things up with the right accessories. And, while you’re at it, get rid of those red plastic cups! The perfect drink deserves to be delivered in the correct crystal.

4. Decorate

Man doesn’t live by TV alone, so be sure to deck your walls with cool artwork. But please, put the tape aside! Like taking pics? Showcase your snaps in bright enamel frames. Or, use your time from studying abroad for good use (not just foreign swear words) – and pick up some vintage inspired transit signs from the places you’ve traveled.
