Yesterday marked the start of Black History Month and this year, Macy’s is celebrating in a big way! We’re teaming up with The Gordon Parks Foundation & the American Black Film Festival to celebrate the 100^th birthday of Gordon Parks: photographer, director, author, composer and American icon. A modern day Renaissance man, Gordon Parks became the first African-American staff photographer at LIFE Magazine in 1948. The rest, as they say, is history!
