From its debut in Hong Kong and exhibitions at Manhattan’s Standard Hotel and Atlanta’s High Museum of Art, here comes Companion, our newest balloon for the 86th Annual Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade!

Created by Brooklyn based artist Brian Donnelly, better known as KAWS, Companion – an adorable figure whose pose is reminiscent of Rodin’s sculpture, The Thinker – will soar down the streets of New York City come November 22. Measuring in at 40 feet long, 23 feet wide and 30 feet tall, it’s sure to blow you away!

With this, KAWS will join artists such as Tim Burton, Jeff Koons and Takashi Murakami as part of the Blue Sky Gallery series, where Macy’s invites renowned contemporary artists to create high-flying art for the world to see!

There should be a float that looks like the house from the movie Up! With balloons and everything!
