Want to see the 85th Annual Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade® up close and personal, but not really a morning type? Well you’re in luck! See the parade’s legendary balloons – before they make their trek to Macy’s Herald Square – come to life Wednesday evening...
A tradition since 1927, the Macy’s Balloon Inflation is almost as famous as the parade itself. On Thanksgiving Eve, New Yorkers of all ages gather at the National History Museum to watch their favorite characters take shape. The action starts at 3pm on 79th and Columbus. (Insider tip: For ultimate viewing, go around 4:30.) So grab the kids or a group of friends and head uptown to join in the fun!
