Well, we made it... last night was the Fashion Star finale and ALL bets were off! As far as I was concerned, going into the competition, there were NO front-runners. Each designer had an equal shot at being our Fashion Star!
When I heard the Met Gala theme was “Punk: Chaos to Couture”, I was super excited to see fashion’s elite rock tons of Vivienne Westwood, Giles Deacon (Sarah Jessica Parker, you never disappoint) and maybe even an old school Marc Jacobs here or there (Anne Hathaway, you came close with your 1992 Valentino – which everyone is calling vintage – if 1992 is vintage then I’m older than I thought!). Some may say most attendees ended up playing it safe Monday night, but that doesn’t mean there weren’t drool-worthy dresses on the red carpet. Check out my belles of the ball, then see how you can get the look yourself!
Just one week away from the Fashion Star finale! This journey has been unbelievable and so exciting. The designers have come so far and this is literally their final chance to show us they deserve to be our Fashion Star. Go big or go home — literally!
Wow! What an amazing show! I still can't believe how everything turned out - again, all I can say is wow!
So, the teaser last week was that we were going to experience A Night on the Town! I was all ready for a great night full of amazing designs — and I am happy to report that the designers exceeded my expectations. They definitely sent some of the best looks of the season down the runway last night…
