What a way to start the show! Wasn’t Nicole Richie’s collection absolutely breathtaking? She’s such a great inspiration for all of our budding designers.

Then, everything turned bittersweet. We were getting so close to finding out who our Fashion Star would be – it was so exciting! But I was not excited AT ALL about having to send 3 people home. And when they all just broke down on stage like that? I’ll admit, I was having a tough time keeping it together.

Thankfully, Kara’s designs took my mind off of all the pressure. I liked her dress but I LOVED that trench! I am so glad to finally get one of her pieces into our stores before the finale. What else blew us away? Ronnie’s suit! It was amazing.

Then there was Nzimiro, who committed the fatal mistake of going against his design aesthetic. Big mistake! That safari jacket was not at all in-line with his target customer. But in the end, we sent Nikki, Luciana and Orly home. It was SUCH a tough decision. But I am 100% confident that all of our final three contestants have what it takes to design a capsule collection for a major retailer – I can’t wait to see what they bring to the finale!

Very disappointed in Macy's ability to make good on a purchase I made based on the FS show. Made my order the next day (as advertised) - they shipped it to the wrong address, now can't locate the package and the item is now sold out!!!! Nothing was done to compensate me beyond a refund!! Not very good customer service this day and age! Not that I expect this post to go up on this blog but I did expect more from a company (BRAND) like yours!!!

 

Bad for the show too!

Actually, don't delete this post as the path you just sent me on is the exact same one I went on initially. It appears you have hired some cracker jack talent on the CS side. They are telling me what I already know!

Little more into the competition on this show as a game show for the way this voters in their choices preferences on the Designer to get a contract deal by the store MACY'S! Sets the national audiences into these stores by orders before ever on the air in a genius ideal to keep selling on running! It's a shame sometimes some of these chosen Designer's didn't get a 'Like' ,or 'Vote' on designs for chances to win a clothing apparel and contract! Only once is't allowed either and a few repeat winners!
