Wow, this competition is getting intense! And not just between the designers, but between the buyers, too...
This week, I was so thrilled to pick up Lisa Hunter’s dresses and Nzimiro’s men’s shirts. But the shocker of the night had to be Oscar’s attitude. He was just SO unreceptive to feedback. After the mentors saved him in Week 1, I was hoping he’d redeem himself, but he just did not bring it!
Sure, retail is about talent and ability, but it’s also about collaborating and building relationships. No matter how talented you are, if you can’t work with others, you just can’t be successful in this industry.
I mean, look at Ross! He hasn’t sold anything yet but he is still humble and open and willing to learn. With a very clear vision of his customer and his brand – he could go very far. Will he win? Maybe! Who do you think will be America’s first Fashion Star?

See you next week!
