It was so exciting to see the show finally air! And let me just say – WOW. Nothing, nothing can prepare you for the first time you see yourself on television. It was kind of surreal.
So what’s the inside scoop on what it was like to be a judge on Fashion Star? What you don’t know is that we actually taped the show over the Summer. (This way, we were able to produce all of the winning designs and have them ready for you to buy in store and online immediately following the show.)
I don’t know about you, but I thought the opening number with the dancers and the flash and the glitz was just absolutely amazing! I was blown away. Also, I want to point out that I love the fact that Macy’s made the very first buy. When I saw Edmond’s dresses come down the runway, I just knew they’d be a hit. And, that silhouette flatters just about every figure.
I also couldn’t resist Lizzie’s Asymmetrical Jersey Tunic and Nikki’s Maxi Caftan Dress. Both chic & comfy – they are so “Macy’s”. Which style do you think will sell out first!?
