There is a saying: Buy the dress and the party will come. And this time of year is ideal for living by that popular adage! So, when shopping for your perfect party frock, take a cue from the spirit of the season and wow with festive fashion! By “festive” I mean, tons of sequins, glitter, bling – whatever you wanna call it! – as long as it sparkles (and gets you noticed!). To help get you started, check out these pretty little things I’ve spotted lately for all your social and celebratory needs.

I've fallen for this gold sequined Michael by Michael Kors dress – it’s fabulous for any type of figure and very well-suited to show off a little holiday décolletage. When sporting such a head-turning sheath, let it take center stage and pick an elegant strappy sandal that complements rather than competes with the dress (but of course, still sparkles!). Bonus: If your heels subtly blend in with your look, it helps create a more elongated shape that really highlights those legs!

For the final touch, keep accessories to a minimum. Though the holidays are all about embellishments, you don’t want to look like an overdone Christmas tree (we’re going for glitter, not clutter, ladies! Everything in moderation!). So, opt for an earring that will adorn, but not distract – love these gold  Kenneth Cole hoops! Then, layer on a bracelet or two and voila, you’re ready for holiday revelry.

In any season, one thing is true: when you look good, you feel even better! And in your sparkling party garb I think you are going to look just amazing. Enjoy yourself, gorgeous!
