At the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade, the clowns have always been one of my favorite parts of the show and now that I work here, it’s even more special watching the clown crews on my TV screen since many of them are my favorite colleagues! But, they aren’t just clowning around out there, instead each participating employee actually attends Macy's Clown U to get the 411 on everything clown-y from the amazing pros at the Big Apple Circus. In honor of their Summer tour, I sat down with one of the Big Apple Circus’ top clowns (and one of our faves!), Seth Bloom, to get the deets on the funny business.

Seeing the floats, balloons, clowns and cheerleaders march down the streets of NYC every year is as huge a part of my Thanksgiving as football, family and feasting! And I can’t wait to watch the 86^th Annual Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade^® this year – it’s set to be one the best ever!
