Baby it's cold outside. And while the weather is somewhere around sub-zero, there's one sure way to heat things up, cosmetically speaking of course! It's time to turn your lovely gaze to the gorge spring beauty collections and inject a little lively into your look. Here, my fave new picks to brighten up your beauty ASAP.
That Emma Watson! She may have graduated from Harry Potter to hottie, but she certainly worked some magic on her first makeup collection for Lancome. This is my second time talking about the In Love Blush, and the Lip Baume - I die. Urban Ballet, well, it's taught me to never say never to neon. This bright, electric pink lippy actually delivers a kiss of sheer color perfection! For nails, polish on Peach Melodie and I promise you'll be too busy admiring your killer coral tips to even think about the cold.
Bobbi Brown It Pinks & Hot Reds
Take your pick from this adorable collection because you really can't go wrong! The Cheek Tints add a healthy après ski flush without having to actually brave the frost, and I'm seriously crushing on these lip gloss shades. If you've always steered clear of reds, a glossing of Cherry may just change your mind.
From colorful eye quads to poppin' blue mascara, this collection is sure to brighten up any beauty bag! The iridescent blue packaging alone is like a shiny bauble you have to reach for, but the Loud & Clear Lip Sheers are the product I can't seem to put back down. All three shades are bright done right!
Rest assured when I'm ready to talk about the lighter side of spring beauty we'll be revisiting this collection, but for now my focus is on the warming effects brought on by a pop of color. Luckily this collection delivers both! My picks to cure your winter blahs are Ballerina Pink Shadow & Liner Duo and the new Addict shade, Espiegle. And for my anti-pink shadow peeps, don't knock it 'til you try it, especially if you have blue eyes. Pink will make your baby blues pop every day of the week!
Last but not least, Jessica Alba's pretty poppy lips at the Golden Globes have gotten a lot of talk. My answer to creating a creamy orange kisser of your own - Clarins Juicy Clementine Rouge Eclat. I thought I better mention it ASAP, just in case you're looking for the perfect way to polish off your pout for that SAG Awards Party on Sunday. Muah!
